New and green

I have been working over the summer on a set of lovely fabrics that I bought from Hawthorne Threads for a work colleague. The brief was a quilt that fitted in a room that was cream in a garden setting. I have never been a huge fan of green, in fact I bought my first ever article of green clothing this summer, and it was a bit of a struggle choosing the colours. But with the excellent assistance of the colour matching on the Hawthorne Threads website I was able to secure a range of colours I was happy with . The pattern was the old favourite Amy Butler Brick Path, but with the modification of a standard binding. I am very happy with how it turned out and it looks lovely in its new home.
